About the Mission:

Patriot Guard Riders has been requested to stand in honor the life and service of Craig A. "Hutch" Hutchison of Hamburg, NY who passed away on 26 September 2022.

Mr. Hutchison served our nation for over 3-1/2 years on active duty in the US Navy Seabees from 1966-1969, with a Naval rating of Builder (BU), and a specialty of 5343-Diver Second Class. He had 2-1/2 years of foreign service, with the majority in the Republic of South Vietnam. Mr. Hutchison was honorably discharged from active duty on 30 September 1969 with the rank of Petty Officer 2nd Class (E-5), and he earned the following awards: Navy Unit Commendation Ribbon; National Defense Service Medal; Vietnam Service Medal w/Fleet Marine Force Combat Operations Insignia and 3 Bronze Service Stars; Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal; Cold War Service Medal.

Special Covid-19 Mission Guidelines:

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: NYS Guidelines of 2 March 2022, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.

Special Information:

PGR will provide a respectful flag line for the arrival of the family and during calling hours from 10:00 AM-1:30 PM.  A funeral service and Military Honors at the funeral home are scheduled for 1:30 PM.  There is no cemetery or escort involved in this Mission.  Acknowledging that this is a long Mission, please consider contributing whatever amount of time that you're able to.
