About the Mission:

PGR has been invited to stand for one of the last of The Greatest Generation. Anthony J. Nardone passed away on 1/3/23 at the age of 99 yrs. old. He was a 2nd Lt. in the Army Air Corps. His MOS was Navigator and he served during WWII in the European Theatre. His B17 was shot down and he was a POW for 9 months. After being liberated he joined the Air Corps Reserve and was active for 40 yrs. He was a very proud veteran.  PGR did a drive by for him last summer to celebrate his 99th birthday.  Please do what you can to help honor this remarkable soldier.

The funeral home does not have an obit up yet but there will be one in the D&C on Sunday morning. The funeral home is Falvo FH and their obit should be up Monday.

Special Covid-19 Mission Guidelines:

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.

Special Information:

Calling hours are 4pm to 7pm on Tuesday 1/10, and you are asked to stand a flag line for whatever duration that you can. The funeral is Wednesday morning at 10:00 am at the funeral home and will be followed by an escort to Holy Sepulchre Cemetery where he will receive full military honors for his burial.

Please bring your clean 3X5 American or Army flag. Dress for the weather as it will be cold!

Second Stage - Special Information:

Funeral service @ 10:00am.  We will stand an honorable flag line as guests arrive at the funeral home and then again during transfer to the hearse after the funeral ceremony. There will then be an escort to Holy Sepulchre Cemetery where we will again stand a flag line for transfer to the grave and for military honors.
