About the Mission:

Patriot Guard Riders of NY has been requested to stand in honor of the life and service of Albert J. Kielich, DDS of East Amherst, NY, who passed away on 27 July 2022.

Mr. Kielich served our nation for 2 years on active duty in the US Army Dental Corps from 1955-1957, serving as a Dental Officer at Fort Gordon, GA. He was honorably discharged from active duty on 10 August 1957 with the rank of Captain (O-3), and he earned the Cold War Service Medal.

Special Covid-19 Mission Guidelines:

Updated 8 March 2022

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: NYS Guidelines of 2 March 2022, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.


Special Information:

PGR will provide a respectful flag line for the arrival of the family at 10:30 AM.  Visitation will be from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM, followed by a prayer service at 12:00 PM.  Following the service and dignified transfer, PGR will provide an escort to Elmlawn Memorial Park, 3939 Delaware Ave, Buffalo, NY 14217 for interment with Military Honors at the Mausoleum.

Please arrive with a clean 3x5 American or US Army flag, dress for the weather, and ensure your large flags are securely attached.  Thank you for taking time to help honor the US Army service of Captain Albert J. Kielich and to support his loving family.

PLEASE NOTE: We have a 2nd Mission at the same time in Alden/Corfu for Vietnam Veteran Alfred J. Koziol. Please try to support one of these Missions.
