About the Mission:
The President of Elmlawn Memorial Park, Mr. Michael Austin, has invited Patriot Guard Riders to attend the dedication of the new Field of Honor Feature in honor of veterans of Western New York. Attendees will include NYS Senator Sean Ryan, Assemblyman Bill Conrad, representatives of Elmlawn Memorial Park, the Elmlawn Memorial Park Foundation, Milton J. Brounshidle, American Legion Post 205 and other key veterans organizations from across Erie and Niagara counties.

Special Covid-19 Mission Guidelines:

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.
Special Information:
The dedication ceremony begins at 1:00 pm. From Delaware Avenue, follow the main entry road into the cemetery for 0.4 of a mile. The Field of Honor features a large bronze “Peace Bell” and round granite monument. Media will be present to cover the event. PGR will form a flag line during event. The Mission ends at end of dedication ceremony. Updates for this event may be forthcoming.
