Multi-City, NY - 04/19/2024

Mission applies to the following Region(s):

Region 4, Region 5

About the Mission:

We have been requested by the family of Edward J. Brzozowski to participate in his military honors funeral services. Edward, age 93, died peacefully on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at Wesley Health Care Center.

Born in Schenectady, NY, Edward was a lifelong resident of the Burnt Hills Ballston Lake area. After graduating from Mount Pleasant High School, he enlisted into the US Marine Corps, proudly serving for 7 years, and spent 1 year in combat during the Korean War. Edward was a dedicated Marine, who proudly wore Marine memorabilia, resulting sometimes in strangers stopping to chat with him about his service.

He enjoyed a long and rewarding career as a railroad engineer with D&H Railroad in Mechanicville. Edward was an avid lover of the New York Mets and Giants. Later in life, his greatest pleasures were RV-camping around the states, especially in the Florida Keys and Lake George with his children and grandchildren.
