About the Mission:

The family of Timothy Charles Wood has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in his military honors funeral services.  Timothy, 62, of Fort Edward, passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2023.

Raised in Lake George, Tim graduated from Lake George High, Class of 1979.  He went in to the US Army and served with the 105th Rainbow Division out of Troy, under the early entry program.  He served many deployments overseas including Germany and Iraq.  For his service, Tim earned several awards, Army Commendation Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, Army Reserve Components Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal (2nd award), Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Noncommissioned Officers Professional Development Ribbon with Numeral 2, Army Service Ribbon and Overseas Service Ribbon.

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.

Special Information:

We will stand flag line for the arrival of family and guests. Following the dignified transfer, members will escort to Saratoga National Cemetery for a 2:30 service.
