About the Mission:

The family of Mark E. "Frency" Louprette has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in his military honors funeral services. Mark, 75, passed on March 15, 2024.

Born in Troy, NY, Mark enlisted in the United States Navy on 2 November 1967. He was trained as an Aviation Electronics Technician (Speciality Number ATN_0000), specializing in the A6A Bullpup Missile system, utilized on A6 Intruder aircraft. He served a total of 3 years and 1 months on active duty, with 1 year and 9 months at sea, including time at "Yankee Station". Mark was honorably discharged on 8 September 1970 at the rank of Petty Officer 3rd Class (E-4), with a rating of Aviation Electronics Technician 3 (ATN3). For his service, he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal w/60 Device.

Special Covid-19 Mission Guidelines:

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.


Special Information:

Staging at the funeral home with a flag line for the last hour of Visitation, 10:00 - 11:00 am. There will be a brief prayer service following, with estimated departure time of 11:30 am. Members will escort to Saratoga National Cemetery for interment with military honors.
