About the Mission:

The family of Lawrence F. "Larry" Fragale has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in his military honors funeral services.  Larry, age 88, died on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at his home.

Born in Oswego, NY, Larry attended school there. He served in the United States Army 4th Infantry Division from 1954-1956, spending a year in Germany. He earned the rank of Corporal, and for his service, was awarded the Good Conduct Medal and National Defense Service Medal.

Larry was employed by Marathon Corporation in Oswego, Hyde’s Leather in Ballston Spa, Consolidated Diesel Electric Company in Niskayuna and retired as the maintenance plumber for the Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake CSD.

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.

Special Information:

We will stage for dignified transfer, and then escort to Saratoga National Cemetery. KSU 9:00 am. Service at Saratoga National Cemetery is at 10:00 am
