About the Mission:

The family of Harmon J. Graham, Jr. has requested Patriot Guard Rider participation in his military honors funeral services. Harmon, 77 of Las Vegas, and formerly of Troy, passed into eternal rest on June 8, 2022.

Born in Troy, Harmon graduated from Troy High School. He entered the US Army on 26 May 1967 and was trained as a Light Weapons Infantryman (MOS 11B10). He served proudly in 25th Infantry Division, including a tour of duty in Vietnam where he was wounded in action. He was honorably discharged at the rank of Specialist 4th Class (E-4), and for his service, was awarded the Combat Infantry Badge, Purple Heart, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal and Sharpshooter Badge - Rifle (M-16).

Harmon had been employed by The Marriott Corporation in the food and beverage division. He loved traveling, and after his retirement, traveled the world, visiting almost every country and place of U.S. military importance.

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: NYS Guidelines of 2 March 2022, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.


Special Information:

Staging at the funeral home with a flag line for the dignified transfer. Escort to Saratoga National Cemetery to follow, with KSU at 09:00.
