About the Mission: The family of Mr. William F. Cole, who passed December 02, 2021, has asked PGR to participate in honoring their fathers' military service to the United States. Mr. Cole served in the US Army and the US Air Force throughout the 1960s.

US Army Service: 2 years, 11 months, Foreign Service: 2 years, 1 month - Germany, Specialist 4 (SP4, E-4), MOS: 921.10, Physical Therapy Specialist.  US Army Reserve Duty: 2 years, 5 months.  US Air Force Service: 4 years, Foreign Service: 1 year - Germany, Sergeant (E-4), MOS: 91350, Physical Therapy Specialist.  Total Military Service: Active Service: 6 years, 11 months, Overseas Service: 3 years, 1 month, Reserves: 2 years, 5 months

Mr. Cole earned:  Air Force Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Air Force Longevity Service Ribbon, Cold War Commemorative Medal

Special Covid-19 Mission Guidelines:
Updated 8 March 2022

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: NYS Guidelines of 2 March 2022, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.

Special Information: PGR will stage at the entrance to the cemetery and form a flag line for the arrival of Mr. Cole's remains. PGR members will follow the direction of the Cemetery Director on whether to escort the mourners or to ride ahead to the Committal Shelter. At the Committal Shelter, PGR Members will participate in services with the military honor guard.  Services are scheduled for 11:00am.

Please arrive with your own water, a clean 3x5 American or US Air Force flag, and dress for the weather.
