About the Mission: | The Patriot Guard Riders have been requested to stand in honor of the life and service of David L. Brooks of Oakfield, NY, who passed away on 30 November 2021. Mr. Brooks served our nation for 4 years on active duty in the US Air Force from from 1962-1966, with an Air Force Specialty of 43151E - Aircraft Mechanic. He was assigned to the 449th Operation & Maintenance Squadron at Kincheloe Air Force Base, Michigan. Mr. Brooks was honorably discharged from active duty on 4 June 1966 with the rank of Airman 1st Class (E-4), and he earned the Air Force Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, and Air Force Longevity Service Award Ribbon. Updated 8 March 2022Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: NYS Guidelines of 2 March 2022, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters. |
Special Information: | PGR will stand with a respectful flag line for arrival of the family and friends. The graveside service is scheduled to begin at 11:00 AM. There is no escort involved in this Mission. We have a busy day on Saturday, please try to support one of the Missions. Thank you for taking time to help honor the USAF service of David L. Brooks, and to support his loving family. |
