About the Mission: The family of Mr. A. William Kelley has asked Patriot Guard Riders to participate in services commemorating his life and service to America. Mr. Kelley passed on June 06, 2022.

Mr. Kelley served just over 13 years in the Air National Guard and US Air Force between 1949 and 1964. Mr. Kelley's final discharge was October 31, 1964. During his time in the service, Mr. Kelley rose to the rank of Staff Sergeant. He had multiple MoS though spent most of his military career as a 70250, Administrative Specialist.

Mr. Kelley earned: Air Force Outstanding Unit Award; Good Conduct Medal w/ 2 bronze stars for three awards; National Service Defense Medal; Air Force Longevity Service Award w/ 1 Bronze Oak Leaf Cluster for two awards; Cold War Commemorative Medal.

Mr. Kelley's son wrote, "I took my dad on Rochester Honor Flight in 2013, and he was so taken by your presence, both in Washington and here at home. It would be an honor to us if you could attend."

Special Covid-19 Mission Guidelines:
Updated 8 March 2022

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: NYS Guidelines of 2 March 2022, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.

Special Information:

PGR Members will form a respectful flag line for the arrival of family and guests who are expected at 11:30am. Services are scheduled to begin at 12:00pm.  Following the services, PGR Members will escort the family and mourners to White Haven Memorial Park in Pittsford, NY.

Please arrive with a clean 3x5 American, or US Air Force flag.  Bring your own water, dress for the weather, and ensure your large flags are securely attached if you plan to participate in the escort.


Thank you for taking time to help honor the Korean War era, Vietnam War era, and Cold War military service of Mr. Andrew Kelley, and to support his proud and loving family.

Second Stage - Special Information: PGR members will stage at the gravesite to render a salute for the arrival of the cortege.  PGR members will then participate with the military honor guard during services.  Services are expected to begin at 1:15pm.  Following services at the cemetery, the PGR will render a final salute.
