About the Mission:
The family of Robert W. Beveridge had requested Patriot Guard Riders' participation in his military honors funeral services last Fall, but storms in the South forced a cancellation. Robert passed on 24 April 2024, in Seminole Florida, surrounded by family and friends.
Known as Bob to his friends, he lived an exceptional life that took him from West Hebron's one room schoolhouse to the halls of Salem Washington Academy and then to Naval boot camp in Bainbridge, MD. His enlistment in the United States Navy brought him all over the world during very difficult times, not the least of which was Vietnam. He honorably served his country for 22 years, achieving the rank of Chief Petty Officer (E-7). Near the end of his service, he was stationed in Connecticut as a recruiter.
After retiring from the Navy, Bob went to work for the US Postal Service in Hudson Falls, NY.
