About the Mission:

The family of US Navy Veteran Daniel A. Wagner has requested Patriot Guard Riders' participation in his military honors and interment services at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Buffalo, NY. Mr. Wagner passed on 31 July 2025 with his family at his side.

Entering the US Navy on 20 February 1970, Mr. Wagner served his nation for 21 months on active duty.  He was trained as a Machinist Mate, and his time included 15 months of foreign/sea service on the USS John F. Kennedy (CVA-67), a Ford Class Aircraft Carrier. He was honorably discharged on 1 December 1972, and for his service he was awarded; Meritorious Unit Commendation Ribbon and a National Defense Service Medal.

After his service, Mr. Wagner worked for IOUE Local 17, Operating Engineers, as a Crane Operator in Buffalo, NY, retiring after 40 years.

Special Information:

PGR will stage at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Field of Valor, Section 19, Lot 56, Space 101, for arriving family and Mr. Wagner's cremains. Military honors are expected at 11am. Dress for the weather and bring water. Thank you for standing for our veterans.
