About the Mission: Patrick J. Scollins served this nation honorably from 1963 to 1965. He served aboard the USS Warrington (DD-843), a Gearing-class destroyer, attaining the rank of Boatswain Mate 3rd Class, and was also trained at the Naval Firefighting School. Upon his discharge, he went on to become a NY City Police Officer and attained the rank of Lieutenant, serving in many commands.

  • * If you are not feeling well in any way, please do not attend this Mission.
  • ** ADDITIONAL MANDATORY REQUIREMENT: Wearing a protective face covering of some kind is required...homemade face-mask, bandanna, etc. (Patriotic face coverings would be particularly appropriate) This will not only provide an extra layer of protection to ourselves and others, but will send the message that the PGR takes this crisis seriously and is performing this Mission responsibly.
Special Information: There will be a dignified transfer and then escort to a 10:45 am mass at St. Thomas More Church on Kings Hwy., Hauppauge. After mass, burial will be at Calverton National Cemetery. NYPD is scheduled to be present for escort.
