Special Covid-19 Mission Guidelines:
IMPORTANT

The Mandatory Rules for Covid-19 protection practices...these WILL be strictly enforced.

  • Stay a minimum of 6 feet apart from each other at all times.
  • No handshaking or any other physical contact of any kind.
  • Follow all Covid-19 protection practices as described on the CDC website.
  • Click this URL to review: CDC - Prevent Getting Sick
  • Here is the link for the NYS rules: NYS Guidelines
  • * If you are not feeling well in any way, please do not attend this Mission.
  • ** ADDITIONAL MANDATORY REQUIREMENT: Wearing a protective face covering of some kind is required...homemade face-mask, bandanna, etc. (Patriotic face coverings would be particularly appropriate) This will not only provide an extra layer of protection to ourselves and others but will send the message that the PGR takes this crisis seriously and is performing this Mission responsibly.
Special Information: My friend Larry passed away and was interred in March of 2020 when just about everything was shut down because of the pandemic. He never received his military honors to which he was entitled. The U.S. Air Force will provide honors now.
This is to be a Jewish ceremony called an 'Unveiling,' whereupon the grave marker is unveiled. Traditionally.
The modern version is symbolic, as the grave marker has been in place for some months.
Please stage in the parking lot - we will move to the gravesite in advance of the family's arrival.
We will present a flag line at graveside and perform a plaque presentation.
Mission concludes.
Is there a Second Stage to this Mission? no
