|About the Mission:||
The Patriot Guard Riders have been requested by the family to stand in honor of the life and service of Robert Lee Rapp.
Robert joined the US Navy at the age of 17. He Served from 74-77 aboard the USS Lexington (CVT-16), an Essex-class aircraft carrier, and was an airplane mechanic. Robert loved his BMW and was trained to ride while in the military. For most of his life he worked in the trucking industry. There will be no obituary.

|Second Stage - Special Information:||NOTE: The Friday schedule at Saratoga National will involve the use of both interment shelters, with veteran interments taking place in Shelter 1.
There will be no sentries posted at the main entrance.
RIDERS: When arriving at the cemetery, riders will remain with the cortege and proceed with the procession to Shelter 1, parking fender-to-fender on the left hand side of the parking lot of the shelter parking lot only. You will be sharing the parking area with the family, so please park as tightly, but safely as possible.
CAGERS: Upon arrival at the cemetery, proceed past the procession and park on the right side of the roadway at or beyond Shelter 1. Once parked and the shelter area is clear of previous services, proceed to establish a flag line as normal.
