About the Mission: The Patriot Guard Riders have been requested by the family of Melbourne Clark to participate in his military honors funeral.

The following was taken from his obituary found at flintfuneralhome.com

NORTH BANGOR – Melbourne George Clark of the Alice Center in Malone, NY, formerly of North Bangor passed away on Thursday (January 28, 2021) at the age 98.

He was born in Dickinson, NY on September 30, 1922. Mr. Clark lived all of his life in the Brushton, Bangor area. He attended school in the Brushton and Moira schools and was a member of the Brushton Pilgrim Holiness Church.
He was employed by Tru-Stitch in Malone for several years while also operating a dairy farm in West Bangor and retired from Kraft Food Inc. in North Lawrence, NY in 1987.

Melbourne served in the Army Air Force during World War II from 1942 to 1946 as a military policeman, ending his service in Okinawa.

  • ** ADDITIONAL MANDATORY REQUIREMENT: Wearing a protective face covering of some kind is required...homemade face-mask, bandanna, etc. (Patriotic face coverings would be particularly appropriate) This will not only provide an extra layer of protection to ourselves and others, but will send the message that the PGR takes this crisis seriously and is performing this Mission responsibly.
Special Information: Mr. Clark's funeral service starts at 1 pm. Please do what you can to honor the service of this American hero and to support his loving family and friends.
