We have been called upon to Honor Sgt Joseph DiCanto, US Army, WW2, Bronze Star & Purple Heart recipient. Sgt DiCanto spent more then the last year of his life in the care of Bldg 92 at Northport. His wife Janet asked some time ago while we were visiting 92 if we would be there for her husband when the time came.

Date: Saturday May 28th, 2011

Location: Maloney's Funeral Home, 825 Main Street, Holbrook 981-7500 (director is Jim)
Time: 0845 hrs (family to arrive by 0900, prayer service is at FH)
Ride Captain: Sandy Johnson (631-219--0388)   Road Captain: Warren S.
Detail: Flag line while at FH, then escort to Calverton for services.

Please have flags with you, it is unknown if region flags will be on site, if you do not have a flag please still do attend as the flags do have a way of showing up sometimes,

If you are at Calverton for flag placements, please contact Sandy around 1000 hrs to see when the procession will entering CNC so that a line can be in place at cemetery.

And yes there are services as CNC this Saturday due to no services on Monday
