- Updated 12/08/2010 -

For the 19th consecutive year, Morrill and Karen Worcester of the Worcester Wreath Company in Harrington, Maine will be providing wreaths for headstones of our fallen veterans in Arlington National Cemetery for the holiday season.

This year the number of wreaths has been increased 50,000 for Arlington and wreaths will also be provided to over 300 State and National Cemeteries in the US, some overseas, and to ships at sea. The slogan of this mission is Remember - Honor - Teach; Remember the fallen, Honor those who serve, and Teach our children the value of Freedom.  A National Network television news crew is being embedded in the mission again this year to document the entire trip and all of the activities and events.

The escorting of the wreaths was started five years ago by The Patriot Guard Riders and has grown into a week-long series of events all designed to honor veterans. This year the escort from Harrington, Maine to Arlington National Cemetery will make two stops in Westchester County on December 9, 2010. The first stop will be at City Hall in Rye, NY and the second will be at Kemper Memorial Park in Mamaroneck, NY. There will be brief wreath laying ceremonies at the memorials in both locations.

Thursday, December 9, 2010

PGRNY will escort the Wreaths Across America convoy from Connecticut to New Jersey. The staging areas for the PGR riders will be:
