*** UPDATED 1/6/2011***
Brothers, Friends, Riders.
This Saturday some of our Lost Brothers will finally be laid to rest and be given the Honors they have earned through Service to Our Country. Various organizations have helped to identify unclaimed remains of indigent Veterans at multiple funeral homes and morgues throughout NYC. The Names and Ranks of these Veterans are included on CNC's media release which is attached to this email.

Due to reported weather conditions, there will be no motorcycle escort, Please proceed to Calverton National Cemetery for Flag Line.

Flag Line & Ceremony Details
Ceremony is to start at 1100 hrs sharp
Date: Saturday January 8th, 2011
Location; Calverton National Cemetery
Time: 0930 hrs
Detail: We will be standing a flag line for the arrival of  approx 22 hearses along with LEO escort
Ken will be on site with region 9 flags, parking will be as instructed by CNC. We would like to have a flag line lined up inside the entry to the cemetery, although this could change based upon CNC instructions. Ten Local Fire Dept's will be providing arches along Rte 25. Once the procession passes we will then be restaging and forming a flag line at the main assembly area.

Be careful driving, exact snow fall still seems unknown at this time, but with drifts and hi-winds Saturday, visibility will not be good.
Please bring your American Flags so we do not have to put pressure on the support vehicles to be a must show
With the itinerary and guest speakers this has the makings of looking like a long day, (2 hours ceremony alone) so please be prepared, be hydrated.

I am amazed at the amount of attention that has surrounded this Service, and it is truly appreciated to see everyone pulling together, although I believe no Veteran is more important then any other Veteran and would love to see the same enthusiasm for every Veteran & Soldier we are called to Stand for.
Hopefully this Service will also bring to light that we should be helping All Our fellow Veterans while they are still among us so that one day there will not be a need for a Veteran Recovery Program.

LET NO VETERAN BE FORGOTTEN !!!
