The Medal of Honor is the highest military decoration awarded by the United States government. It is bestowed by the United States Congress on members of the United States Armed Forces who distinguish themselves through "conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of his or her life above and beyond the call of duty while engaged in an action against an enemy of the United States." Due to the nature of its criteria, it is often awarded posthumously (more than half have been since 1941).

We have been honored with once again being requested to escort these over 30 of these Hero's who have received the Medal Of Honor from their Manhattan Hotel to LGA. They were in town for the 9th Annual Gala at the NY Stock Exchange event and are headed down to DC on an American Airlines chartered plane.

Please check email tomorrow evening to see if weather will be on our side and roads will be safe to provide a motorcycle escort. In other words, escort may be called off in the name of safety.

Staging & KSU's as of now:
Suffolk County: 0600 KSU, Gulf Station at LIE exit 56, Rte 111, Hauppauge
Nassau County: 0635 KSU, Mobile Station at LIE exit 39, Glen Cove Rd
Manhattan: Staging 0800, Hilton 53rd & 6th Ave
Due to parking in NYC (which there isn't any at the Hotel) and fast moving escort, we will not be able to provide any parking or traffic assistance for cages.
Cages are encouraged to head directly to Airport for flag line reception at LGA.
Ride Safe & God Bless
