Please remember that all vehicles should remain in the procession at all times. With the fact that we have no means of communication i.e.; radios, CB’s etc at this time, it can be counterproductive and sometimes dangerous for people to attempt to assist in lane changes or assisting the pd etc without having it planned in advance or communicated to the others that are in the procession. If you would like to assist please let the ride captain know that you are willing, but be aware that most of the time only a few are needed and the more familiar they are with each other the better.

Thank you for the time you give to those who stood for us.

- Begin original mission posting -
Riders,
We have been contacted directly by the 7th Special Forces Group to ask on behalf of the family to stand for this Soldier. Capt. Juan Lightfoot joined the USMC in 1993 and after 6 combat tours transferred to SF this year. He passed away during advanced SF training.

The Sargent 1st Class who is assisting the CAO from Fort Dix, knew all about us and knew how well we took care of Keith Bishop. We are awaiting Details of the release date of his remains. The feeling I get is that the mission will be quick and only one or 2 days from Arrival to Burial.

What I do Know as of now and it is subject to change is:
His remains will arrive at LGA via chartered Flight either Fri or Sat.
The Funeral parlor is Bentas Funeral Home, 630 St. Nicholas Ave., Manhattan, on the west side up around 141 St.
As soon as I have further details I will post them.

Thank you for the time you give to those who stood for us.
