| About the Mission: | The family of Everett Mark Rushford, Jr. has requested Patriot Guard Rider participation in his military honors funeral services. Everett, 65, passed on January 8, 2020. Born in Boston, Massachusetts and resident of Mastic for fourteen years, Everett was a Sales Representative with MRS in New Jersey. He served proudly in the United States Army between 1 March 1972 and 19 March 1974. He served 18 months in Germany as a Clerk Typist (MOS 71B10), and was honorably discharged as a Private First Class (E-3). Everett re-enlisted on 4 January 1982 and served as an Administrative Specialist (MOS71L20). He was honorably discharged on 13 December 1984 as a Specialist 5th Class. For his service he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal; Army Service Ribbon, Army Achievement Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Marksman Badge M 16 Rifle, Overseas Service Ribbon Portions of the above narrative are contained in Everett's obituary, available for viewing online on the Davin's Funeral Home website by clicking HERE |
