|About the Mission:||SP4 Wilton A Sekzer faithfully and honorably executed his duties to our nation in the Vietnam War. He enlisted on 13 November 1963 and was honorably discharged on 20 August 1966, before transferring to the U.S. Army Reserve for three more years.
His specialty was 71B20 - Clerk Typist; his family reports that he was a helicopter door gunner.
He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal and the Vietnam Service Medal.
Following his honorable discharge from the Army, he joined the NYPD, serving for 22 years, and retiring as a sergeant in 1990.
The majority of his career was spent in Brooklyn North, 81, 93, 60, SES, and ESU Truck 3. He was also a PBA Union Rep. His family reports numerous commendations and medals from the P.D.
His family has requested PGR participation in his final honors; as we are likely to be the only honors he will receive, try to attend if you can.
