About the Mission: The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to stand for the life and service of PFC John G Geier.  Mr. Geier faithfully and honorably executed his duties to our nation in World War II as an Automatic Rifleman (746.)  He 4eceived his Honorable Discharged on 3 December 1946.  Mr. Geier was awarded the Army of Occupation Medal, the Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal, the Good Conduct Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal.

His family has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in his final honors. Please come stand for this member of the Greatest Generation who has stood for us.

  • * ADDITIONAL MANDATORY REQUIREMENT: Wearing a protective face covering of some kind is required...homemade facemask, bandanna, etc. (Patriotic face coverings would be particularly appropriate) This will not only provide an extra layer of protection to ourselves and others, but will send the message that the PGR takes this crisis seriously and is performing this Mission responsibly.
Special Information: Please stage funeral home by 9:30AM to form a flag line for dignified transfer and subsequent escort to Long Island National Cemetery.
Escort will lead into the cemetery, turn around and leave. Mission over.
