About the Mission: George Greifenberger faithfully and honorably executed his duties to our nation as a Seabee in the US Navy.  He enlisted on 20 June 1944 and served until released after the victory as a Mechanics Mate 3rd Class (MM3c) on 12 June 1946.

For his service, he was awarded the American Theater Medal, the Asiatic Pacific Theater Medal, the World War II Victory Medal, and the Army of Occupation Medal.

  • ** ADDITIONAL MANDATORY REQUIREMENT: Wearing a protective face covering of some kind is required...homemade face-mask, bandanna, etc. (Patriotic face coverings would be particularly appropriate) This will not only provide an extra layer of protection to ourselves and others, but will send the message that the PGR takes this crisis seriously and is performing this Mission responsibly.
Special Information: Stage at funeral home for dignified transfer and escort to Pinelawn Memorial Park.
