ABOUT THE MISSION:
The family of SMSgt. Edward L. LaMora Sr. has requested Patriot Guard Riders presence at his military honors funeral services. Mr. LaMora, 61 of Latham, entered into eternal life on Friday, June 23, 2017.
Born in Cohoes on July 29, 1955, he served in the United States Air Force as a mechanic and occupational safety specialist from 1976 to 2000, retiring at the rank of Senior Master Sergeant (E-8). Ed was the past Commander of the NYS Disabled American Veterans and currently the Commander of Chapter #38 Rev. Francis E. Kelly Disabled American Veterans. He was a life member of the Tri-County Council of Vietnam Era Veterans, and was past Exalted Ruler of the Troy Elks Lodge #141. He was a devoted communicant of Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Latham for many years.
The Patriot Guard Riders are proud to have the opportunity to stand for and render dignity, honor and respect for the life and service of Edward L. LaMora Sr, proud United States Air Force Veteran.
