About the Mission: The family of Way Jude Hildreth has requested Patriot Guard Rider participation in his military honors funeral services. Wayne, 68, passed on Friday, July 17, 2020.

Born in Albany NY, Wayne was raised in East Greenbush and attended East Greenbush schools. He entered the United States Army on January 21, 1971 and served as Military Police (MOS95B20) at Fort Meade, MD. He was honorably discharged on January 19, 1973 at the rank of Specialist 4th Class (E-4). For his service he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal and the Marksman Badge - Rifle (M-16).

After his military service, Wayne was employed as a rotary forge operator at the Watervliet Arsenal from which he retired in 2015 after 34 years.

Special Covid-19 Mission Guidelines:

  • * ADDITIONAL MANDATORY REQUIREMENT: Wearing a protective face covering of some kind is required...homemade facemask, bandanna, etc. (Patriotic face coverings would be particularly appropriate) This will not only provide an extra layer of protection to ourselves and others, but will send the message that the PGR takes this crisis seriously and is performing this Mission responsibly.
Special Information: Interment with military honors scheduled for 09:30 AM. Mandatory Rules for COVID-19 Protection are to be adhered to at all times. Family is meeting directly at the cemetery.  There will be no procession, however, members can form a flag line at the front gate for the arrival of the funeral vehicle.
