|About the Mission:||The family of Vincent W. Passaro has requested Patriot Guard Rider participation in his military honors funeral services. Vincent, 93, of Tannersville, passed on Tuesday, September 29, 2020.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, Vincent served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was part of the first wave of the Normandy invasion at just 17 years old, serving aboard LST 337. He was honorably discharged at the rank of Seaman 1st Class and, after his service, was a truck driver for many years in New York City. He was a member of the Tannersville Fire Department and a member of the American Legion Bunt Brewer Post 165 in Tannersville for over 50 years.

|Special Information:||Staging at the funeral home with a flag line for the arrival of family and guests. There will be a visitation hour from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, followed by a brief funeral service. Upon conclusion, members will provide escort to Evergreen Cemetery, 354 Platte Clove Rd., Tannersville for interment with military honors.
