The family of Mr. Vincent F. Chonski, Sr., United States Army, Korean War Era Veteran, has requested Patriot Guard Rider participation in his military honors funeral services.

Vincent F. Chonski Sr., of Clifton Park passed away peacefully on Friday, April 28, 2017. Vince was born in Albany and was a lifelong area resident. He was the owner and operator of the former Vince's Auto Electric in Cohoes. A proud Korean War Army Era Veteran, he was a member of the Korean War Veterans Association and the Veterans of Lansingburgh.

Vince served in the United States Army, Co. A, 707th Munitions Maintenance Battalion, from January of 1954 to December of 1955, attaining the rank of Specialist 3rd Class (T). For his service, he was awarded the Good Conduct Medal and the National Defense Service Medal, and was Honorably discharged.
