ABOUT THE MISSION:

I am sad to report that we have lost yet another member of our “Greatest Generation”. The family of Thomas F. Long has requested Patriot Guard Riders presence at his visitation and military honors funeral services. Thomas, 93, of Lansingburgh passed away Thursday May 11, 2017 at St. Peter’s Hospital after a long illness. Born and educated in Poughkeepsie, Tom was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He served during World War II with the 4th Marine Division, 1st Joint Assault Signal Company (JASCO), on Iwo-Jima, and was a Purple Heart recipient for wounds received during that time.
