About the Mission: The family of SPC Codi T. Patenaude has requested Patriot Guard Rider participation in his military honors funeral services. Codi, 26, passed unexpectedly on May 28, 2021.

Born in Troy, Codi served in the New York State Army National Guard, and was on active duty for the United States Army. He served his country from 2015 to his passing and had been deployed to Kuwait.  He was currently stationed in the 42nd Infantry Division in Troy. He enjoyed wood working, playing chess, and most of all playing with Tanjam (Tanner).

  • While in any outdoor setting, fully vaccinated PGR members will no longer be required to wear masks but are asked to act responsibly and respect your fellow members decision on this issue. For the protection of others, non-vaccinated members are asked to please wear a mask.
  • For the immediate future, all PGR members will continue to wear masks and social distance while indoors during a mission.
  • Masks will be worn at any other location where organizers, requestors or the Lead Ride Captain has determined that this be done.
  • Going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please respect the LRC’s decision on these matters.

Special Information: Staging at the funeral home with a flag line for visitation hours of 15:00 (3:00 pm) to 18:00 (6:00 pm). Attendees are asked to adhere to the updated COVID-19 Guidelines, as shown above.

Second Stage - Special Information: Staging at the funeral home with a flag line for the 10:00 am funeral service. Escort to Saratoga National to follow conclusion of the services. Anticipated KSU of 11:30 am for 12:30 service at Saratoga National Cemetery.

Third Stage - Special Information: Interment services scheduled for 12:30 pm.

NOTE: There are two services scheduled for this timeslot, so both Interment Shelters will be utilized. SPC Patenaude's service will be conducted in Shelter 1.

There will be NO sentries posted at the main entrance.

ESCORT RIDERS: When arriving at the cemetery, riders will remain with the cortege and proceed with the procession to Shelter 1, parking fender-to-fender on the left hand side of the parking lot of the shelter parking lot only. You will be sharing the parking area with the family, so please park as tightly, but safely as possible.

CAGERS and Individual Riders: Upon arrival at the cemetery, cagers will proceed past the procession and park on the right side of the roadway at or beyond Shelter 1. Individual Riders will proceed past the procession and hold at the Solomon Memorial until all services at Shelter 2 have completed, and will park on the right side of the roadway at or beyond Shelter 1. Once parked and the shelter area is clear of previous services, proceed to establish a flag line as normal.
