About the Mission: The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to stand for Robert J. Goyer. Robert, 84, passed on Monday, March 15, 2021.

Robert was a US Army veteran, enlisting on 23 August 1955. He served as a Supply Handler (MOS 550.07) with the 11th Quartermaster Company while stationed in Sorghof, Germany. He was honorably discharged at the rank of Specialist 4th Class (E-4) on 12 August 1958, and for his service was awarded the Good Conduct Medal.

  • ** ADDITIONAL MANDATORY REQUIREMENT: Wearing a protective face covering of some kind is required...homemade face-mask, bandanna, etc. (Patriotic face coverings would be particularly appropriate) This will not only provide an extra layer of protection to ourselves and others, but will send the message that the PGR takes this crisis seriously and is performing this Mission responsibly.
Special Information: Staging at the cemetery with a flag line during interment services scheduled for 1:00 pm. Those members arriving early, please form a flag line at the entrance for the arrival of the funeral cortege.
