About the Mission:

We have been requested by the family of John P. Morgan, Jr. to participate in his military honors funeral. 

John P. Morgan Jr., 88 passed away peacefully on April 19, 2021. He was born in Schenectady, NY and was a graduate of Burnt Hills - Ballston Lake High School. He served 4 years in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. John was a lifelong resident of Charlton. He was the long term Town of Charlton Highway Department Superintendent retiring in 1989. He continued his service to the town as the Water Superintendent for 28 years. He was a life member of the Charlton Fire Dept of 70 years, serving as past Chief and Commissioner.

  • ** ADDITIONAL MANDATORY REQUIREMENT: Wearing a protective face covering of some kind is required...homemade face-mask, bandanna, etc. (Patriotic face coverings would be particularly appropriate) This will not only provide an extra layer of protection to ourselves and others, but will send the message that the PGR takes this crisis seriously and is performing this Mission responsibly.
Special Information: There will be no formal procession so sentry will not be needed. Please stage quietly for service at 10:00 am.
