About the Mission: The Patriot Guard Riders have been requested by the family of Colonel John Jay Cirelli (Ret.) to participate in his military honors funeral services. Colonel Cirelli, 92, passed March 7, 2019.

Colonel Cirelli proudly served his country during World War II in the United States Navy, where he earned a Letter of Commendation, American Theater Medal, WWII Victory Medal, Asiatic Pacific Medal w/1 Star, and the Philippine Liberation Ribbon w/1 Star.  He served through much of his lifetime in the Naval Reserves and the Army National Guard, retiring with the rank of Colonel in July of 1994.

In 1951 he graduated from St. John’s University and then continued on to medical school in Bologna, Italy, graduating in 1956.

Special Information: Will be standing flag line at the church for the arrival of Colonel Cirelli's family and friends. After the church service we will escort to Saratoga National Cemetery for interment.
