Honor Mission
Jerome A. Dawson, Jr.
US Army Veteran
Schuylerville, NY - 01/06/2022
Mission applies to the following Region(s): Region 4, Region 5
About the Mission: The family of Jerome A. "Jerry" Dawson has requested Patriot Guard Rider participation in his military honors funeral services. Jerry, Jr, 61, died peacefully in the comfort of his home on January 1, 2022,

Born in Troy, Jerry joined the US Army, proudly serving his country for 7 years before his honorable discharge in 1984. He worked as a mechanic while serving, an occupation that would pave the way to his future career. Shortly after returning home, Jerry began working as a mechanic and body man at Dawson's Body Shop in Watervliet. In 2000, he shifted his work to being a salesman for T&T Body King in Latham.

Finally in 2010, Juice, as he was affectionately known by his friends, opened his own motorcycle/bike shop out of his home. Action Motor Sports was created and became a name associated with high quality bike repair and rebuilds. One of Jerry's rebuilds was featured on the front cover of a 2019 edition of American Iron, a prestigious motorcycle magazine, which detailed the work he was able to do on a bike. Juice was a lifetime member of the American Motorcycle Association and also a member of the Disabled American Veterans.
