About the Mission: | The Patriot Guard Riders will stand in silent honor of the life and service of George Osganian. George served in the US Army during the Korean War, enlisting on 18 May 1953. He was trained in Food Services and worked as a Mess Steward (MOS 1824) until his honorable discharge on 10 May 1955. He was discharged at the rank of Private 2nd Class (PV2) and for his service, was awarded the Good Conduct Medal and National Defense Service Medal. Special Information: | Staging at the funeral home with a flag line for the dignified transfer to be conducted after visitation and brief memorial service. Members will escort to Memory Gardens, 983 Watervliet Shaker Rd, Albany, NY 12205 for interment with military honors. |
