|About the Mission:||
We have been requested by the family of Frances Reed Vandenberg, Jr. to participate in his military honors funeral. Frank passed away July 25th 2020. Frank graduated from Waterford Halfmoon High School. After graduation he joined the US Air Force and served in Vietnam from 1968 to 69. He distinguished himself by meritorious service as a bulk fuel storage operator, Fuels Management Branch, chief of Supply Division, 35th Tactical Fighter Wing and was awarded the Air Force Commendation Medal. Frank was a volunteer firefighter at Kavanaugh Hook and Ladder Fire Department and was an active member of the Waterford Rescue Squad. He also served on the Waterford Police department. Frank retired from New York Transportation System Region I as highway maintenance supervisor. He also served in many capacities with the American Legion Post 1450 and Lansingburgh Vet.
We will be there to render honor, dignity and respect for the life in service of Frank Vandenberg Junior.
