About the Mission: The family of Francis A. "Frank" Adams has requested Patriot Guard Rider participation in his military honors funeral services. Frank, 79, passed on April 1, 2021.

Frank served in the US Army during the Vietnam War era. He was a lifetime long member with over 25 years of service with Chemical and Hose Company #4, past firefighter, 2nd Lt, 1st Lt, and Captain. He was owner/operator of Frank Adams Heating and Plumbing for over 54 years. Frank worked for the US Postal for 20 years, retiring in 2004 as a Dock Supervisor. Frank was also actively involved in the Gerald O’Neil American Legion, DAV and Cohoes-Waterford Elks and Eagles.

  • ** ADDITIONAL MANDATORY REQUIREMENT: Wearing a protective face covering of some kind is required...homemade face-mask, bandanna, etc. (Patriotic face coverings would be particularly appropriate) This will not only provide an extra layer of protection to ourselves and others, but will send the message that the PGR takes this crisis seriously and is performing this Mission responsibly.
Special Information: Staging at the funeral home with a flag line for the memorial service, followed by escort to Saratoga National Cemetery for interment with military honors. Approximate KSU at 11:30 am.

Second Stage - Special Information: Those members staging directly at the cemetery are asked to form a flag line at the entrance for the arrival of the funeral cortege. Interment with military honors scheduled for 1:00 pm.
