About the Mission: The family of Anthony Francis "Nino" Trotta has requested Patriot Guard Rider participation in his funeral services. Anthony, 53, passed suddenly on Tuesday, November 3, 2020.

Born in Albany, Nino graduated from Bethlehem High School in 1987 and then entered the U.S. Army and trained at Fort Knox as a tank and armored vehicle repair specialist. Upon completion of basic training he served for two years in Germany.

After being honorably discharged, he studied Heavy Equipment, Truck and Diesel repair at Alfred University. He was employed at John’s Trucking, Penske Trucking and combined his mechanical skills and his love for motorcycles at J&J’s Cycle. Nino also worked as a security guard at several local venues.

  • * ADDITIONAL MANDATORY REQUIREMENT: Wearing a protective face covering of some kind is required...homemade facemask, bandanna, etc. (Patriotic face coverings would be particularly appropriate) This will not only provide an extra layer of protection to ourselves and others, but will send the message that the PGR takes this crisis seriously and is performing this Mission responsibly.
Special Information: Staging at the funeral home with a flag line during the first two hours of visitation, 4:00 - 6:00 pm. Services to follow at 6:00 pm. Interment will take place at a later date.
