ABOUT THE MISSION:

The family of Dominic L. Maimone has requested Patriot Guard Rider presence at his military honors funeral services.

Dominic L. Maimone, 95, entered Eternal Life Monday, October 16, 2017. Born in Albany, he was a graduate of Roessleville High School. After high school, Dominic served in the US Army during WW II, in Central Europe, Normandy, Northern France and Rhineland. For his service, he was awarded a Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Service Medal, WWII Victory Medal and Lapel Button. He was Honorably discharged on 17 November 1945 at the rank of Sergeant.

Dominic retired as a salesman after 25 years of employment at Montgomery Wards, Menands. He was a 43 year member of the Colonie Elks, and belonged to the American Legion for over 54 years, currently with the Joseph E. Zaloga American Legion Post.

The Patriot Guard Riders are proud to have the opportunity to stand for and render dignity, honor and respect for the life and service of Dominic L. Maimone, "Greatest Generation" Hero.

Staging at the funeral home with flag line for the arrival of family. 09:30 service followed by escort to Christ Our Light Catholic Church, Loudonville for a 10:00 service. Interment to follow at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery.

Flags Will NOT Be Provided, Please Bring Your Own.
If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
