Another one of our "Greatest Generation" veterans has passed on. The Patriot Guard Riders have been requested by the family of Jerry W Caruso Sr., US Navy, WWII, Seaman 1st Class, to stand for him at his graveside service.

"Big Dan” Nolin

Jerry’s obituary reads, in part “Jerry was a restauranteur for over 30 years in Lake George. He also owned and operated a contracting firm in Hudson Falls, and was a special Deputy with the Washington County Sheriff's.”

“He was a volunteer Fireman, a Boy Scout leader,a life member of the VFW and American Legion,and also the 40 and 8. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and spending time with his family. He especially enjoyed his trip to Washington DC and the motorcycle escort for last Spring's Honor Flight.”

The Patriot Guard Riders will consider it an honor to stand for another hero from the greatest generation to show honor dignity and respect for the life and service of Jerry Caruso.

Rest in Peace Sailor- Duty done.
