About the Mission: The family of Tamika S. McCray has requested Patriot Guard Rider participation in her funeral services. Tamika, 52, passed on March 27, 2021.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, Tamika moved to Albany with her family and was a graduate of Albany High. She attended Columbia Girls College in South Carolina and served honorably in the United States Navy between 1988 and 1990.

She worked at CDTA as a bus driver and later on as a home health aide with Concepts.

  • ** ADDITIONAL MANDATORY REQUIREMENT: Wearing a protective face covering of some kind is required...homemade face-mask, bandanna, etc. (Patriotic face coverings would be particularly appropriate) This will not only provide an extra layer of protection to ourselves and others, but will send the message that the PGR takes this crisis seriously and is performing this Mission responsibly.
Special Information: Staging at the cemetery with flag line for the arrival of the family. Interment services scheduled for 12:00 pm.  Please attend if you are at all able.
