ABOUT THE MISSION:
The family of Mr. Robert Francis Jones Sr., United States Air Force, Korean War Era veteran has requested Patriot Guard Rider presence at his military honors funeral services.
Narrative:
Robert F. Jones Sr., 82, passed on April 12, 2017 in Lake Wales, Florida, after a long illness. Robert was born and raised in Watervliet, New York and, after graduation from high school, served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. Following his service to our country, he went to work for Niagara Mohawk Power Corp., working his way up the corporate ladder. While at Niagara Mohawk, he was very active in the I.B.E.W., L.U. 137 Union, first as Shop Steward, then Financial Secretary, and then was voted in as President/Business Manager where he served for many years.
The Patriot Guard Riders are proud to be able to stand for Mr. Robert F. Jones Sr., and render dignity, honor and respect for his life and service to our nation.

- Staging at the funeral home for the arrival of family. After a brief service, PGR members will provide a motorized escort approximately 2 miles to the church for a Roman Catholic Mass at 11:00 AM
