About the Mission:

The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by the family of Philip Tracy to stand in honor of the life and service and participate in his military honors funeral. Sadly Philip passed away January 29th 2020.

Philip 12 Ballston Spa School graduated in 1969 and then listed in the US Army to serve in Vietnam and was injured and paralyzed during training and spent the next fifty years in a wheelchair. His disability didn't hinder him from accomplishing many things.  He graduated from New York University with a degree in Mathematics and had a successful career with IBM as a programmer.  He later returned to school and got a Masters in Social Work.  Phil also taught English as a second language to Spanish speaking students. In addition, he also obtained his pilot's license and learned to ski and sail. His courage, strength, kindness and generosity was admired by all who knew him.

Part of the above narrative is from Mr. Tracy's obituary which can be view by using the following link.
