ABOUT THE MISSION:

The family of Mr. James Robert Latimer has requested Patriot Guard Riders presence at his military honors funeral services. Mr. Latimer, 54, passed away May 27, 2017. James served in the United States Army, was Honorably discharged in 1981, the Army National Guard, Honorably discharged in 1992 and the United States Army Reserve, Honorably discharged in 1997. For his service to our Nation, he was awarded the Army Service Ribbon, Marksman Badge for the M16 rifle and Marksman Badge for Hand Grenade.

The Patriot Guard Riders stood for Mr. Latimer’s father, Donald last September, and will stand proudly, honoring the life and military service of Mr. James R. Latimer.

Staging at 11:30 AM in the parking area of Interment Shelter 1. Interment with military honors scheduled for 12:00 Noon. Please stage quietly and be aware of any services in progress. If you arrive early, please do not congregate at the Visitor Center.

Large Bike Flags will NOT be needed.
