About the Mission: The Patriot Guard Riders will stand in silent honor of the life and service of Gerald Randolph. Gerald, 54, passed on March 4, 2021.

Gerald served as a Combat Engineer (MOS 1371) in the US Marines from November of 1987 to December of 1991, and was a Gulf War Veteran. He was honorably discharged on December 23, 1991 at the rank of Corporal (E-4), and for his service, was awarded the Bronze Star, National Defense Service Medal, Southwest Asia Service Medal w/2 stars, Good Conduct Medal, Sea Service Ribbon w/1 star, a Letter of Appreciation and Expert Rifle Badge.

IMPORTANT

  • ** ADDITIONAL MANDATORY REQUIREMENT: Wearing a protective face covering of some kind is required...homemade face-mask, bandanna, etc. (Patriotic face coverings would be particularly appropriate) This will not only provide an extra layer of protection to ourselves and others, but will send the message that the PGR takes this crisis seriously and is performing this Mission responsibly.
Special Information: Staging at the funeral home with a flag line for the dignified transfer. Escort to Saratoga National Cemetery to follow. Estimated departure time of 12:00 pm for 1:00 pm interment service.
