Chris T. Andreadakis

About the Mission: The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to stand in silent honor of the life and service of Chris T. Andreadakis.

A United States Army veteran, Chris served in WWII at Normandy and in the Battle of the Bulge  For his service, he was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Service Medal, European African Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with 5 Bronze stars, and the WWII Victory Medal.  In December of 1945, he was honorably discharged at the rank of 1st Sergeant.

Chris was a Saratoga Springs police officer for over 10 years and a police officer at the Saratoga Race Track for over a decade as well. He retired as highway supervisor in Saratoga Springs, serving for over 30 years. He was a member of the Saratoga ITAM and the Saratoga-WiltonElks Lodge.

  • ** ADDITIONAL MANDATORY REQUIREMENT: Wearing a protective face covering of some kind is required...homemade face-mask, bandanna, etc. (Patriotic face coverings would be particularly appropriate) This will not only provide an extra layer of protection to ourselves and others, but will send the message that the PGR takes this crisis seriously and is performing this Mission responsibly.
Special Information: We will stand flag line for the arrival of family and friends, and for a short service at Noon.  Following the dignified transfer, we will escort to Saratoga National Cemetery for a 1:00 pm service.
