About the Mission:
The family of Chester T. Szalasny, Jr. has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in his military honors funeral services. Chester, 74, of Cohoes and formerly of Troy passed into eternal rest on Saturday November 11, 2023 at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York City, surrounded by his loving family.
Chester was born in Troy and proudly served our country with the U.S. Army during Vietnam. Upon coming home, he was employed with the Troy News Company and later with Premier Transportation in Albany. He was a member of the American Legion Cohoes, a former member of the Polish American Club, Troy, and the American Legion Wynantskill.

Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.
Special Information:
Staging at the funeral home for escort to Sacred Heart Church, 310 Spring Avenue, Troy, NY 12180 for an 08:30 funeral Mass. Escort to Saratoga National Cemetery to follow church services.
